Who are the Overwatch League coaches' top teams after Week 8?

Robert Paul/Provided by Blizzard Entertainment

After a delay due to the coronavirus, the Overwatch League resumed play online this past weekend, and it was a time of upsets. The defending champion San Francisco Shock lost twice in the same weekend for the first time in ages, this time to both the Los Angeles Gladiators and Los Angeles Valiant.

The Shanghai Dragons, on the other hand, started off strong with a win over the Guangzhou Charge, but then were swept by the Chengdu Hunters -- who, with Ding "Ameng" Menghan's return on Wrecking Ball, were entertaining as always.

All that means there's a new No. 1 in our weekly coaches poll. Who's on top after the league's online return in Week 8? We asked coaches from around the Overwatch League for their rankings.

The Overwatch League coaches poll is built off the responses from coaches from across the Overwatch League. Voters rank the teams from best to worst, and those votes are compiled into aggregate rankings. The coaches poll will come out weekly during the OWL season.
