We've reached the beginning of April, which means the NBA regular season should be wrapping up. Instead, due to the coronavirus, we're left wondering when we'll see professional basketball again.

In the meantime, the NBA, National Basketball Players Association and 2K have partnered to produce an NBA 2K tournament featuring 16 NBA players, with the winner's prize money going to charity. Here are the details:

How to watch:

The NBA 2K20 Player Tournament's first round will continue on Sunday, April 5, from 6-10 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The first four matches aired Friday night.

The quarterfinals will be on Tuesday, April 7, from 7-11 p.m. ET, also on ESPN2. And the semifinals and finals will be on Saturday, April 11, on ESPN, with the time yet to be determined.

All games will be available as VODs on ESPN3 following live competition.

The players

Kevin Durant is the biggest star involved in the tournament. He's also the No. 1 seed -- players were seeded based on their player rating in NBA 2K20. Durant will be competing in the opening game of the tournament, at 7:30 p.m. on April 3.

The prize

The winner of the event will receive $100,000 to give to a charity in support of the coronavirus relief efforts.
