September roster expansion is right around the corner, and for rookies already on the 40-man roster, it's the next big opportunity to get their call to The Show.

1. Kyle Tucker, OF, Houston Astros

Following some struggles in July, Tucker is back hitting again. He is slashing .333/.406/.667 in August with five home runs. With 32 home runs and 28 steals on the year, he is nearing the first 30/30 season of his career and has secured his third straight 20/20 campaign. The Astros roster is pretty stacked, but there might be a spot Tucker can exploit. Josh Reddick is hitting .186/.234/.237 since July and last left the yard on June 28. Jake Marisnick has served as the team's fourth outfielder for most of the season and is a good defender, but he's hitting .245 and is a career .229 hitter. Tucker will likely finish out the month with Round Rock, but he's a lock for a September call-up and could replace Reddick if he continues to struggle.
