One week of the NFL season is complete and fantasy football managers are ready to overreact! Hey, it comes with the proverbial territory to look extra close at the Week 1 numbers because that is all we have, then totally adjust all the preseason expectations. In most cases, of course, this is silly. OK, so Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers played poorly. Marcus Mariota and two other backup quarterbacks outscored him. It happens. It is one week.
We are trying something new in our rest-of-season rankings column, combining the ample lists with a trade index by position, one analyst's thoughts on players whose value actually might have adjusted. Trading is never a sure thing in any fantasy pursuit, as it takes more than one manager to, well, tango, but now is absolutely the right time to trade for Rodgers. In fact, it might be the last time to do so reasonably. So here we go and enjoy the rankings!
