Fantasy Need to Know: In their most recent game on Saturday, the Mercury lost to the Chicago Sky. In that game, Phoenix's defense gave up 91 points, resulting in a 16-point loss. The Mercury rank fifth in offensive rating (101.8) and 11th in defensive rating (104.9). On Friday, the Sparks defeated the Dallas Wings 97-89. Los Angeles ranks seventh in offensive rating (100.1) and 10th in defensive rating (104.6). Los Angeles is playing on the second night of a back-to-back, so fatigue may be a factor.

With an average of 33.9 MPG and 35 fantasy points per game, Skylar Diggins-Smith has been the top fantasy player for the Mercury. In the game against the Sky, she scored 25 points for the seventh time this season, matching Breanna Stewart for the most in the league. With 38 steals, Diggins-Smith also leads the league. Averaging 19 or more fantasy points per game, Diana Taurasi, Diamond DeShields, and Brianna Turner are also must-start options. Sophie Cunningham, who's available in 83.7%, is an excellent streamer. She has averaged 26 fantasy points per game since returning to the starting lineup four games ago.

Nneka Ogwumike has been the top fantasy player for the Sparks. In her most recent game, she had her eighth 20-point game of the season against the New York Liberty, which leads the team. Liz Cambage also belongs in lineups. Over the last three games, Cambage has averaged 33.3 fantasy points and 26.3 minutes per game. With Brittney Sykes likely out on Monday due to the COVID-19 protocols and Chennedy Carter who is dealing with left knee injury could miss Monday's game. The top streamers from the Sparks are Jordin Canada, available in 74.4% of leagues, and Katie Lou Samuelson, available in 75.6% of leagues. Samuelson has averaged 19.3 fantasy points per game this season while Canada has averaged 19.4. -Eric Moody

Best bet: Mercury -1.0

The Sparks are 11th in the league with 86.1 points allowed per game, while opponents are shooting 44.6% from the field. When facing a team like the Mercury, Los Angeles' defense is a liability. While Phoenix is 5-7 against the spread on the road while the Sparks are 4-1 in their last five against the spread, the Mercury should cover. -Moody
