Flyfishing qualifier lands In Wyoming

Bristol, CT — Johnson County, Wyo. will offer four anglers the chance to qualify for an open invitation to the fly fishing competition at the Great Outdoor Games, the world's premier outdoor sports extravaganza, to be held late July in Lake Placid, NY.

The competition will feature 24 anglers vying for the largest fish through a three-day competition featuring a casting contest and two days of fishing.

The Great Outdoor Games return to Lake Placid for a third year from July 11-14, 2002. The Games feature competitions in fishing, target sports, timber events and sporting dogs. The event will be televised beginning July 20 on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC.
