The ESPN Great Outdoor Games announced their annual art contest winner
on July 2 in the 1932 & 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum. Adam
Saunders, an Australian exchange student who attended Lake Placid High
School this year, was declared the winner by a panel of judges.
Saunders
was awarded a $250 check for his accomplishment. Great Outdoor Games
Director Eric Matijevich and Lake Placid High School Art Teacher Ann
Rickard (above) are holding Saunders' winning design which will be displayed on
the event t-shirt. All entries in the art contest will be shown in the
museum through July.
