Until 1998, she participated in basketball, netball, creative dancing, tai shi, jogging and "keep fit" classes. In 1998, she had an accident and was advised by doctors not to continue with those activities. So she joined her husband, Alastair, in Jack and Jill events and later moved to singles events. Her keys to victory are determination, skill, focus and fitness.
