He spent a lot of his time learning and increasing his skills as a youngster, performing in lumberjack shows during the summer months. He has performed in festivals at Sea World, Euro Disney, fairs in Australia, New Zealand, and all over the United States and Canada. In 1981 Stewart appeared on the television show "That's Incredible" as the World's Youngest Lumberjack.
