Norman says this Australian Open could be his last

SYDNEY, Australia -- Greg Norman's first Australian Open appearance since 1999 might also be his last, the golf great said.

Norman, the 51-year-old five-time champion, didn't rule out the possibility the tournament would be his last on home soil.

"It could be," he said "I'm not saying which one is going to be my last. I'll be honest, the thought crosses my mind. My competitive juices still flow and I can't comment on whether it will be my last one or not. But sooner or later there will be a last one."

Norman said that, while he plays rarely these days due to business commitments, he would still put on a strong showing at Royal Sydney.

"My form is OK," he said. "It's nothing startling."
