Caddie drops Woods' 9-iron in pond

STRAFFAN, Ireland -- Being a club short is
usually golf-speak for the result of poor advice from a caddie.
But Tiger Woods was literally one down after his caddie, Steve
Williams, dropped his nine iron into a greenside lake on Sunday.

Williams was dipping a towel in the lake when he allowed the
club to slip from his grasp. A non-plussed Woods merely grinned
and did not order Williams to wade in and retrieve the
club.

It left the world No. 1 with only 13 clubs for the rest
of his match with Robert Karlsson of Sweden.

Woods, much improved from his early struggles in the event, beat Karlsson 3 and 2.
