ESPN Player Evaluations

March 2013: Pro-frame insider with emerging offensive consistency in the paint; lateral quickness and defends out of area, wingspan, active in passing lanes; fluid and agile with superior size; quick first-step attack gains respect in mid-post attack; among the nation's elite versatile interior performers in 2014. (Olson)

Nike Skills Academy Indy-April 2012: Continues to impress with her skill set. Hitting the 12-15 footer in drills and in games. Always been active on the glass and defensively. Showing touch around the rim and facing up now. (Clay)

USAB U16 Trials-May 11: The advancement in Rice's game from the scholastic season to now is staggering. The size, length and athleticism are all there but it's her willingness to use them to their fullest that puts her in the middle of the action time and again. She's aggressive in wanting the ball low and can hold her ground against stronger defensive match ups. She isn't hesitant to face up and attack and utilizes an solid first step in creating her shot. Her effort is there at the elbow as well but her productivity isn't as reliable up high at this point. If she's not making the outlet she can run the floor with the guards and got a few lay ups in doing so. There's a tendency to get sealed defensively at times but she won't settle in and works to get back around. The physical strength needs to come but the tools and potential are all there. (Lewis)
