ESPN Player Evaluations

Nike Nationals-July 2013: Skilled interior performer with solid footwork in traffic; reads defender and executes effectively; high-motor effort on both ends of the floor; has re-emerged after knee injury(2011); brings interior consistency. (Olson)

Nike Skills Academy Indy-April 2012: Solid overall game, lacks the explosiveness of the forwards ahead of her. Great personality on the floor, always talking/communicating. Hitting the 15 footer, battling inside. Has a pink knee brace on her left knee. (Clay)

USAB U16 Trials-May 11: If you haven't seen Waterman yet you'll want to see her soon since her game is constantly evolving. The impressive part about the progression of her skills is that it's a result of sweat and a willingness to get in the gym. The 6-1 forward is a workhorse on the floor and forces opponents to play every moment. Is her play smooth, fluid and refined? Not completely but the offensive skills are advancing and she's developing more counters and the ability to create a shot rather than just take what comes her way. Away from the rim she's more comfortable but still needs to be a stronger threat from 15 to make her repertoire more complete. Defensively and on the boards she's blue collar and isn't going to come up on the short end due to effort. She runs the floor every possession and isn't hesitant to get physical and mix it up. Only going to continue to improve. (Lewis)

Terrific complementary forward player with a high level of skill. Much like you expect of a point guard, she makes her teammates better each and every play. She can score it, make a play with the pass and be active on the offensive glass. She may never put up a 30-spot on the box score but her contributions in so many areas will make her as valuable at the college level as many players who will take twice as many shots as she does. (Hansen)

She has a motor that never slows down, works hard to get position in the paint. She knows how to make plays and make her teammates better. Has a high ceiling and umlimited potential. (Bodine)
