LOS ANGELES -- Breeders' Cup Classic winner Tiznow is getting two new co-owners after the recent death of majority owner Cecilia Straub-Rubens.

Her daughter, Pamela Ziebarth, and son, Kevin Cochran, a thoroughbred trainer, will be the new partners of co-owner Michael Cooper in Tiznow.

Straub-Rubens, 83, died Nov. 7 in Newport Beach, three days after watching Tiznow win the $4.2 million Classic at Churchill Downs.

Cooper, who managed her business affairs, said Straub-Rubens had battled liver and spleen cancer for 16 months.

"I think he knows the Classic was the last time she was ever going to see him run," Cooper said of Tiznow.

Tiznow is tentatively scheduled to run in the Strub Stakes at Santa Anita in February, Cooper said.
