Seven 3-year-olds, including Gotham Stakes winner Richly Blended and Rebel Stakes winner Crafty Shaw, on Tuesday were announced as late nominees to this year's Triple Crown, bringing the total number of nominees to 447.
Richly Blended, trained by Ben Perkins Jr., has won all three of his starts. He runs next in the $750,000 Wood Memorial at Aqueduct on April 14. Crafty Shaw and late nominees Arctic Boy and Son of Rocket finished first, second, and fourth, respectively, in the Rebel.
