Jayski.com: Goodyear tire test at Michigan cancelled

Original post 3/28/2017 #10-Danica Patrick, #78-Martin Truex Jr. and #27-Paul Menard are coming to Michigan International Speedway a little early.

As part of a Goodyear tire test, the three drivers will hit the track Tuesday, April 4, and Wednesday, April 5. The Turn 1 grandstand is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., so fans can come and watch for free.

Parking is available in Lot 10, off U.S. 12. Fans can enter the track through Gate 17 near the water tower. Restroom facilities are available and coolers adhering to the normal MIS grandstand policies are allowed.

The full Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series rolls into Brooklyn for the FireKeepers Casino 400, June 18. The Pure Michigan 400 is Aug. 13.

UPDATE: According to the speedway, "The Goodyear tire test scheduled for this week has been cancelled due to weather.".

AND also posted in a response about rescheduling the test: "We are working with Goodyear for a rescheduled date, we will announce if a date is set."
