Special scheme for Jones at Chicago

• JONES AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY: Carrying a special DEWALT Join the Salute paint scheme this weekend on the No. 20 Toyota Camry, Erik Jones will make his second-career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) start this weekend at the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway. In his previous start at the track, Jones scored a 33rd-place finish after a pit road penalty and late-race incident. Jones has four starts at the track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) with two wins to his credit. In his lone NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start, Jones scored a sixth-place finish.

• JGR AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY: Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) has 51 total starts at Chicagoland Speedway in Cup Series competition earning five wins, 15 top-five finishes, 26 top-10 finishes and two pole starting positions. The team has led 1,019 laps, completed 13,346 of 13,638 attempted laps (97.9%) and earned an average start of 13.8 and an average finish of 14.2. Tony Stewart leads the team with two wins followed by Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin with one win each at the track.

• THIS WEEK ON THE NO. 20 CAMRY: Carrying a special scheme this weekend, Jones will pilot the No. 20 DEWALT Join the Salute Toyota Camry for the Overton's 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. • SONOMA RECAP: Racing at the first of two road courses of the season, Jones and the No. 20 DEWALT Toyota Camry team qualified in the 20th position for the Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. Racing his way through the field and making the right calls on pit road, Jones was scored 16th at the end of stage one and 24th at the end of stage two. With pit strategy playing in the teams favor, Jones restarted the final stage from the sixth position and held on to a solid top-10 finish to cross the finish line in seventh place.

• POINT STANDINGS UPDATE: Jones remains 14th in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series standings following his seventh-place finish at Sonoma Raceway.
