CHARLOTTE, NC (May 30, 2017) - When NASCAR rolls into Delaware this week one NASCAR driver will be busier than most. Florida native Ross Chastain will attempt to drive all 800 laps scheduled this weekend at Dover International Speedway.
Ross begins the weekend June 2nd driving the No.66 Bolen Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in the Bar Harbor 200 before taking the wheel of the No.4 JD Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro in the One Main Financial 200 and finally making his NASCAR Monster Energy Cup debut driving the No.15 Chevrolet SS for Premium Motorsports in Sundays, AAA Drive for Autism 400.
All three Chevrolets will carry the "Protect Your Melon" message promoted by the Delaware Office of Highway Safety (OHS) in support of their #BuckleUpDE campaign.
"This is an exciting partnership, I get to promote the #BuckleUpDE campaign, agriculture and fitness. Fitness is always important for a driver, but being physically fit is especially important this weekend when I will be driving in all three NASCAR events."
Look for watermelons labeled with "Protect your Melon" and "#BuckleUpDE" in grocery stores and farmers markets throughout Delaware.
