Hometown hero Moffitt dodges daring move by Gragson for Iowa victory: Brett Moffitt - who grew up on Iowa dirt tracks before climbing NASCAR's ranks - had to hold off a hard-charging Noah Gragson in a furious finish that featured sparks from Gragson's No. 18 after a failed last-gasp slingshot attempt sent him into the wall as the Iowan sailed under the checkered flag.[More](6-16-2018)

Moffitt wins Iowa: Iowa native #16-Brett Moffitt won the M&Ms 200 at Iowa Speedway Saturday night, despite a last lap effort by #18-Noah Gragson. Gragson drove by Moffitt for the lead but momentum carried him up track and into the outside wall. He held on to finish second. #51-Harrison Burton, #54-David Gilliland, #21-Johnny Sauter, #97-Jesse Little, #2-Cody Coughlin, #46-Christian Eckes, #52-Stewart Friesen and #13-Myatt Snider were the top-10.
The win was much-needed for Moffitt, as news broke over the last week that the remainder of the team's season was in question if they are unable to find more funding. With a new sponsor for the week, Moffitt pulled off the win, his second of the season and third of his career, in front of his home crowd.
There were six caution flags for 44 laps and seven lead changes among seven leaders.
