LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom laughed off online reports after practice on Wednesday that his wife and reality television star Khloe Kardashian is two months pregnant -- although he stopped short of denying them completely.
"I can't confirm that," said Odom, smiling. "I don't think so."
The report, which first appeared Tuesday on Radar Online, stated Kardashian wanted to keep the announcement secret until it could be announced on their reality show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Odom, however, said that wasn't the case.
"She hasn't told me if she was pregnant," he said. "I probably would be the first to know."
Odom already has two children, Destiny, 12, and Lamar Jr., 8, with his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales. Odom and Morales also had a son Jayden who died four years ago when he was 6½ months old from SIDS while sleeping in his crib.
Odom, 30, and Kardashian, 25, were married Sept. 27, less than a month after meeting at a party hosted by Kardashian and Lakers forward Ron Artest. Odom said he has adjusted to his newfound fame and hearing rumors about his personal life on an almost daily basis.
"It's a part of my world now," Odom said. "My wife comes from a family that's successful and people know it and they have their own TV show so you have to expect it. That's just the way it is. I roll with the flow."
One aspect of the relationship Odom wished he didn't have to get used to was hearing fans heckle him about his wife or later hearing about fans heckling his wife in person when Kardashian goes to road games. He's still not sure if Kardashian will be going to the Lakers' road games in Boston during the NBA Finals after his kids were heckled there two years ago.
"It's expected but some people go a little too far," Odom said. "I let her know what to expect really early. We're married. That's what married people do. Some people have said nasty things that have gone too far but it slides off. It doesn't stick too long."
