Jeannie Buss on 'Real Housewives'?

A Los Angeles Lakers team spokesman confirmed a TMZ report that team vice president Jeanie Buss has met with producers from Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and is interested in participating in the show.

Buss, the girlfriend of Lakers coach Phil Jackson and daughter of team owner Dr. Jerry Buss, invited producers from the show to a recent Lakers game. She has made no commitment to the show, but does have some interest in participating in the future and would welcome future discussions with them.

Buss is the Lakers executive vice president of business operations and is regarded as one of the most powerful women in sports. She recently published her autobiography, "Laker Girl," and is a member of the NBA Board of Governors.

If Buss were to join the cast, she'd be the second woman with NBA ties on the show. Sacramento Kings co-owner Adrienne Maloof-Nassif starred in the first season of the popular show, which aired this fall.

Two Lakers are already involved in reality shows. Forward Lamar Odom has appeared with his wife, Khloe Kardashian, in episodes of the E! network's "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and is set to star with her in a show about their marriage entitled "Khloe & Lamar." Forward Matt Barnes has appeared with his fiance Gloria Govan in episodes of VH1's "Basketball Wives."
