Source: Lakers, Jodie Meeks agree

The Los Angeles Lakers' roster continued to take shape after the Dwight Howard trade became official, witth the team reaching agreement with free-agent guard Jodie Meeks on Friday, according to a league source.

It is a two-year deal worth close to $3 million, with the second year a team option for the Lakers, the source said.

Meeks, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Kentucky, has career averages of
8.1 points and 2.2 rebounds in his three seasons.

Meeks is a career 37.1 percent shooter from 3-point range. More than half of his made field goals last season for the Philadelphia 76ers were from beyond the arc (97 of 191).
