Blake Griffin to play against Jazz

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin told ESPN.com's Jeff Goodman that he will play in Saturday night's preseason game against the Utah Jazz despite suffering a bone bruise on his left knee during the team's scrimmage at USC on Wednesday.

An MRI on Griffin's knee taken Thursday showed no structural damage, and he returned to practice on Friday.

Griffin was injured on the final play of the scrimmage when he attempted a dunk over Lou Amundson.
