Bracket projection: Rhode Island

Dan Hurley's Rhode Island Rams capped the most successful regular season in program history by winning the Atlantic 10 title outright for the first time. A battle-tested team, Rhode Island played the third-toughest non-conference schedule in the country, owned the nation's longest winning streak (16) at one point, and -- dating back to last year -- went 366 days without falling to an Atlantic 10 foe. Led by backcourt tandem Jared Terrell and E.C. Matthews, the Rams are a loaded, senior-laden bunch featuring six guards who've scored at least 18 points in a game this year. Can they improve upon last year's NCAA tournament showing, which saw them easily handle Creighton before falling in a thriller to eventual Final Four participant Oregon?
