UCLA freshman forward Reeves Nelson will miss the Bruins next two games against Oregon State on Thursday and Oregon. Nelson had laser surgery Monday on a slight retina tear in his left eye, suffered in UCLA's win over Washington State last week.
Nelson will be re-evaluated early next week to determine whether he can play in the regular-season ending trip to Arizona and Arizona State.
With Nelson out and teammate Brendan Lane trying to recover from a sprained ankle, UCLA's depleted frontcourt is down to just J'Mison Morgam, Nikola Dragovic and Tyler Honeycutt.
