Golden Eagles on longest flight since '77 title

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Julius Page scored 22 points, including six
3-pointers, as Pittsburgh beat the 320 All Stars in an exhibition
game on Wednesday.

The Panthers took a 24-23 lead after Carl Krauser's free throws
with 9:43 to play in the first half and never trailed again.

Krauser had 16 points, while Toree Morris added 14 points for
Pittsburgh, which is entering the season under new coach Jamie

John Morton and Frank Wilkins each had 17 points for the 320 All
Stars, while Devonaire Deas had 15 points.

The Panthers return six of the top nine players from the team
that went 28-5 and reached the NCAA round of 16 for a second
consecutive season. Pitt has gone 57-11 over the last two seasons.
