The reserve guards each posted career-high point totals as the Bluejays avenged an earlier loss to the Sycamores. Creighton has won five straight games since losing its first two Missouri Valley Conference games. Witter finished with 21 points, while Woodfox tallied 20.
Creighton (14-3) hit seven of its first 10 shots, including five of its first six 3-point attempts, to build an early 10-point lead. Led by 15 first-half points by Witter, who entered the game averaging only 6.7 points per game, the Jays never trailed and were up by as many as 17 points before intermission.
Creighton led 46-30 at the break after shooting 56 percent (15 of 27) from the field.
Woodfox had 11 first-half points and Nick Bahe added 10. The duo combined with Witter to hit 12 of their 15 combined shots before intermission.
The Jays led by as many as 22 points in the second half.
Marico Stinson scored 23 points for Indiana State (9-8) to lead all scorers. The Sycamores fell to 4-3 in MVC play after losing for the eighth time in nine road games.
