WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Danny Sumner scored 21 points to lead William & Mary to a 73-53 win over Radford on Tuesday night.
David Schneider added 16 points and Chris Darnell chipped in 14 for the Tribe (2-3), who capitalized on 20 Radford turnovers en route to victory. The Tribe outshot the Highlanders (2-2) 7-4 from behind the arc.
After trailing by four points at the half, the Tribe outscored the Highlanders 43-19 in the second. William & Mary sunk 28 of 32 free throws compared to a 9-for-11 mark by Radford.
