Binghamton 74, Tulane 73

NEW ORLEANS -- D.J. Rivera scored 24 points and hit four free throws in the game's final 24 seconds to help Binghamton beat Tulane 74-73 on Saturday.

Rivera also grabbed eight rebounds, went 2-for-3 from beyond the arc and hit 10 of 12 free throws for the Bearcats (6-4). Malik Alvin scored 14 points, Dwayne Jackson added 13 and Emanuel Mayben chipped in with 11.

Daniel Puckett scored 20 points to lead the Green Wave (5-6), Kris Richard added 15 and Kevin Sims had 11.

Tulane led 36-35 at the break, and the score was tied at 62-all with 4:12 to play when Binghamton went on a 12-6 run over the next four minutes to seal the win.

Sims hit a 3-pointer in the game's final seconds to pull the Green Wave within a point, but it wasn't enough.
