NORMAN, Okla. -- Jorge Brian Diaz scored a season-high 17 points Wednesday night as Nebraska defeated Oklahoma 59-58 for its first Big 12 road victory in nearly two years.
Oklahoma guard Cade Davis' potential game-tying 3-pointer with 3.7 seconds left was ruled a two-pointer after time had expired.
The Cornhuskers (17-8, 5-6) last won on the road in the league at Baylor on March 7, 2009.
Wednesday's victory ended a 13-game Big 12 road skid and gave the Cornhuskers their first win in Norman since 1999 -- on their final trip as a member of the Big 12.
