After exchanging buckets throughout the first 10 minutes of play, Jason Pancoe hit a 3-pointer to give Army a 21-19 lead. Army would never trail again, using a 15-1 run to go ahead 36-20 with 2:27 left in the first half.
Army (3-5) shot 48.8 percent (21 of 43) from the field compared to just 30.4 percent (14 of 46) for Binghamton. The Black Knights also hit an exceptional 55.6 percent (10 of 18) of their attempts from 3-point range.
Ellis and Simmons each made three 3-pointers and Pancoe added two more of his own. Ellis has reached double-figures in 10 straight games.
