GREENSBORO, S.C. -- Brad Loesing led four Wofford players in double figures with 19 points, and the Terriers defeated UNC Greensboro 68-56 in a Southern Conference game Tuesday night.
Wofford shot 51.1 percent from the field (23 of 45), holding UNC Greensboro to 38.9 percent (21 of 54).
With it tied for the eighth time, 34-34, Wofford scored six straight and led the rest of the way. The Terriers went up by as many as 15, 67-53, on Karl Kochran's free throw with 20 seconds left.
Wofford made 11 of 18 field goals, while shooting 82.4 percent from the free-throw line (14 of 17) in the second half.
The Terriers outrebounded UNC Greensboro 31-24 in their seventh straight win over the Spartans.
Derrell Armstrong led UNC Greensboro (12-17, 10-7) with 19 points.
