WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Robert Champion scored 15 points and Holy Cross routed Army 60-38 on Sunday in a Patriot League Tournament semifinal.
The ninth-seeded Crusaders (13-19) look to win their sixth tournament title, and their first since 2007, when they play at No. 2 seed Lehigh on Wednesday night.
No. 4 seed Army (19-13) scored a season-low, with just 12 points in the second half and was 12 of 53 from the field overall for 23-percent shooting.
The Crusaders led 34-26 at halftime, and Larry Toomey made a 3-pointer to pull Army to 34-29 early in the second half. From there the Black Knights went cold, missing nine of their next 10 shots during a 10-minute stretch.
The teams split the regular season series but Holy Cross has won five-straight tournament matchups.
