Adreian Payne (foot) still out

Adreian Payne will miss Michigan State's next game but could return to face Penn State on Feb. 6.

Payne, a 6-foot-9 senior, has missed the past six games because of a foot injury.

Under this new timetable, the seventh-ranked Spartans will be without Payne for Saturday's game at Madison Square Garden against Georgetown.

Michigan State has gone 5-1 without its second-leading scorer (16.2 points per game) and rebounder (7.7), after Tuesday night's 71-69 overtime win at No. 15 Iowa.
