Biancardi: Losing Ridley will hurt Longhorns (0:42)

ESPN national recruiting director Paul Biancardi breaks down what the potential loss of Cameron Ridley could mean for Texas in the Big 12 tournament. (0:42)

Texas senior big man Cameron Ridley is expected to miss the Big 12 tournament, but still could play in the NCAA tournament, a source told ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

The 6-foot-9 Ridley has been out since late December due to a broken foot he suffered in practice.

Ridley was having the best season of his career, averaging 12.7 points, 10 rebounds and 3.4 blocks through the first 11 games of the season.

Texas is 19-11 and 10-7 in Big 12 play. The Longhorns have one regular-season game left at Oklahoma State.
