Zach Price transfers to Missouri

Missouri has landed yet another transfer, this time seldom-used Louisville big man Zach Price.

Price was a highly touted center coming out of high school, but hasn't been able to get significant playing time in his two seasons with the Cardinals. He averaged 1.3 points in 7.7 minutes as a sophomore last season playing behind Gorgui Dieng, Montrezl Harrell and Stephan Van Treese.

"Papers are signed, and Mizzou is now where I reside! #TigerNation," Price tweeted on Sunday.

The 6-foot-10 Ohio native will sit out this season and have two years left of eligibility with Frank Haith and the Tigers.

Haith has been active with transfers since his arrival in Columbia. A year ago, he had Alex Oriakhi (UConn), Keion Bell (Pepperdine), Earnest Ross (Auburn) and Jabari Brown (Oregon) in the lineup.

Ross and Brown return this season, and Missouri will have talented Tulsa transfer Jordan Clarkson eligible. Haith also picked up Baylor transfer Deuce Bello last month, who will also have to sit out next season.
