The Packers have moved scout Brandian Ross from the Midlands region to the Southwest, replacing Charles Walls who left to join the Browns personnel department last month. Demetri Goodson, who was a scouting intern for the Packers last year, has been promoted to a full-time college scout and will cover Ross' previous territory.

Salary-cap charge: $2.4 million. Total cash: $1.5 million (plus incentives). This move saved the Packers nearly $3 million in salary-cap space. They now stand at $13,909,951 under their cap.

Packers G Lane Taylor has agreed to rework the last year of his contract. ‪His base salary is now $1.5 million (down from $3.8 million) but he has the opportunity to earn an additional $1.5 million based on playing time. This gives Taylor a great chance to stay on the roster and compete for a starting job and make back a good chunk of his money and gives the Packers plenty of options to play the best five on the line.
