HARTFORD, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Jean-Francois Labbe made 36 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Hartford Wolf Pack blanked the Springfield Falcons, 1-0. Labbe, who stopped 14 shots in the second period, improved to 5-1-2 with a 2.08 goals-against average in eight appearances against Springfield. Johan Witehall scored the game's lone goal 7:53 into the second period for Hartford, which has won seven of its last eight. Patrick DesRochers stopped 35 shots in a losing cause for the Falcons, who fell to 10-19-5 against New England Division foes.
