LONG BEACH, California (Ticker) -- Pavel Rosa scored early in the second overtime as the Long Beach Ice Dogs advanced to the second round of the playoffs with a 3-2 victory over the Manitoba Moose. Rosa tallied at 1:47 with an assist from Nils Ekman, who scored twice during regulation. Nikolai Khabibulin turned away 32 shots, including 11 in the first overtime for Long Beach. Barry Richter and Shawn Burr each tallied in the final period for Manitoba to force overtime. Manny Legace made 26 saves for the Moose, who lost Game One, 5-2, at home on Wednesday.
