It's almost decision time.

A month from now, just before the July 31 MLB trade deadline, teams will have to decide whether they're buyers or sellers. And depending on which teams become sellers, there should be plenty of big names available to acquire if the price is right.

I've gone ahead and looked in my crystal ball and identified which players could be available and which teams could be interested in acquiring a particular player. With that as a backdrop, I discuss 10 players I think will be available from teams with sub-.500 records and match them with one of the 10 teams currently holding a playoff spot, based on their biggest need.

Chicago Cubs
39-30 record (currently in NL wild-card spot)
Trade target: Aroldis Chapman, LHP

There aren't many flaws on this very talented Cubs team. Even their current "closer-by-committee" approach, which is normally a sign that the manager does not trust any single pitcher enough to hold the lead in a close game, might be more of a strategy than a necessity at this point.
