Zambrano is questionable for next start

DENVER -- New York Mets right-hander Victor Zambrano left in the second inning of Tuesday night's game against Colorado with elbow inflammation.

Zambrano made it through the first inning and got two outs in
the second before giving up a double to Matt Holliday and walking
J.D. Closser. He walked off the mound after facing Closser, and was
met by catcher Jason Phillips and the Mets trainer near the
third-base line.

Zambrano talked with the trainer for a few seconds, then walked
into the dugout. He sat with his head down for a few seconds before
heading into the clubhouse.

The Mets said he is questionable for his next start, Sunday
against San Francisco.

Zambrano won his first two starts for New York, allowing four
earned runs over 14 innings since being acquired from Tampa Bay on
July 30.
