DENVER -- Colorado Rockies manager Clint Hurdle and general manager and executive vice president Dan O'Dowd agreed Monday to one-year contract extensions through the 2007 season, the club said.
Hurdle, 48, was named the club's fourth manager in April 2002. This will be his fourth season as skipper.
O'Dowd, 46, was named the general manager, the second in franchise history, in September 1999. This will be his seventh season.
"We believe in the development process of our organization," Rockies president Keli McGregor said. "This is a reflection of that and speaks to the importance of stability."
