Herges, who turns 37 on April 1, went 2-3 with a 4.31 ERA in 66
relief appearances for the Florida Marlins last season. The
one-time closer for the San Francisco Giants has a 32-29 record and
a 3.89 ERA over his eight-year career that also includes stops with
the Dodgers, Expos, Padres, Diamondbacks.
