Lefty Grove won 20-plus games in seven consecutive seasons, including 31 in 1931 (he was named MVP). He won 300 games on the nose and had a .680 winning percentage, but most impressive was his 2.56 ERA and 171 ERA-plus from 1928 to 1932 when the league average ranged from 4.01 to 4.88 and the ERA-plus was 100. Grove was the No. 6 overall lefty in our #MLBRank survey.
