Report: Rockies add Justin Morneau

Free-agent first baseman Justin Morneau and the Colorado Rockies have agreed to a two-year deal worth roughly $13 million, according to a CBS Sports report.

The Denver Post first reported the two sides were close to a deal.

Morneau hit .259 with 17 home runs and 77 RBIs in 152 total games last season -- 127 with the Minnesota Twins, 25 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Morneau, 32, will help the Rockies offset the loss of longtime first baseman Todd Helton, who retired after 17 seasons with the team.
