Prince Fielder's home run breaks unsuspecting fan's phone

Hope from Conroe, Texas, was taking in the Rangers-Astros game in Globe Life Park's right-field seats Thursday afternoon when Prince Fielder launched a Collin McHugh pitch in her direction. She had her cell phone in her hand, so when she instinctively put her hands up to protect herself from the incoming projectile, the phone took the brunt of the impact. The result was a shattered phone screen.

A fan a few rows behind her ended up with the ball. He initially did not want to give it away, but according to MLB.com, he eventually obliged. Even though they could not give her a new phone, Fox Sports Southwest still declared her their fan of the game and gave her a bag of Rangers gear for her troubles.

The team even came away with the 5-3 victory, another consolation prize during her rather unlucky trip to the ballpark.
