Adam Jones takes crack at Tim Tebow on Twitter

Sheffield: Tebow can be in Majors in two years (2:07)

Gary Sheffield shares what he saw from Tim Tebow hitting in the batting cages and believes he can turn Tebow into a Major League Baseball player. (2:07)

Count Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones among those not taking the idea of Tim Tebow playing Major League Baseball seriously.

Tebow hasn't played baseball full time since 2005. He was an all-state baseball player in Florida that year and hit .494 as a junior, helping Nease High School reach the final four of the state playoffs.

Tebow, who will turn 29 on Sunday, plans to hold a workout for MLB teams later this month.
