Devers (hamstring strain) pinch hits in 8th

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers, who left Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Twins with a tight right hamstring and was not in the lineup Friday, pinch hit in the bottom of the eighth against the Toronto Blue Jays and drove in the game-tying run.

Manager Alex Cora said Devers is day-to-day but was available to play Saturday.

Devers is batting .307 with 12 homers and 47 RBIs in 74 games.

After Wednesday's game, Devers told reporters that the strain was not as serious as the hamstring strains that resulted in two trips to the injured list last season.
