Image of David Ortiz is mowed into Fenway Park outfield

David Ortiz has just three regular-season games left in his baseball career, and the Boston Red Sox are pulling out the stops to make it a home series Big Papi and his fans won't forget.

What better way to pay tribute to the 10-time All-Star than by mowing his likeness into the outfield of the park he has called home for most of his MLB career?

The grass portrait of the three-time world champion depicts him in his signature crossing-home pose, looking up with both index fingers pointed to the sky.

The AL East champion Red Sox will return to action at Fenway Park on Friday at 7 p.m. ET against the Toronto Blue Jays. Boston's first playoff opponent has yet to be determined.
