Prospect Deron Winn (5-0) has his third opponent for his UFC debut next week in Greenville, S.C. Winn will now face UFC veteran Eric Spicely on six days' notice after Winn's latest opponent, Bruno Silva, recently withdrew from the fight. Winn, who is managed by UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, was originally supposed to face Markus Perez. Spicely (12-4) was released from the UFC last year. He has won two straight in the CES promotion since.
Rory MacDonald defeats Neiman Gracie by unanimous decision. MacDonald will advance in Bellator's welterweight grand prix to face Douglas Lima in the championship round. MacDonald (21-5-1) fought off multiple submission attempts from his opponent and landed more strikes throughout the five rounds.
Bellator light heavyweight Chael Sonnen retired in the cage at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Friday night. Sonnen, a former UFC title challenger, fought 48 times professionally, compiling a 30-17-1 record.
